Episode 259 – New Year, Same Us (But With Bigger Pants)

It’s the first episode of 2026, and the boys are back… slightly rounder, slightly wiser, and wildly unprepared for athletic endeavors.

Tony’s coming off a long break and mentally bracing himself to return to work, while Mike reflects on his wholesome (and surprisingly heroic) holiday tradition—inviting people over for Christmas and offering rides to anyone stranded on New Year’s Eve. Basically, Mike might be an actual angel.

We cover moving horror stories and make one thing crystal clear:
👉We are officially too old to move our friends.
Hire someone. Prepare. Stretch. Don’t call us. Actually... maybe you can call Mike.

New Year’s resolutions are on the table:
• Tony’s been cooking and baking… unfortunately, in a way that screams future diabetes and heart disease, so he’s pivoting to a healthier lane.
• Mike’s getting organized and diving into a serious body recomp.
• Both of us admit the holidays hit hard. Time to clean it up.

From there, things get weird (as usual):
We unpack the absurd ideas we blindly inherit from our parents, dive into real crime stories (why is it always the quiet close ones?!), and marvel at how some people commit elaborate crimes… then Google “how to get rid of a body” like absolute amateurs.

Also in this episode:
• Mike takes a ChatGPT master class 🤯
• Wild Olympic sports that almost made it
• Fast walkers apparently live longer (Tony expected to live forever—smoke coming off those sneakers)
• And the surprisingly beautiful fact that choir singers’ heartbeats synchronize when they sing together

New year. Same chaos. Let’s go.

Cheers!

Episode 213: From Murder Mysteries to Morning Madness (and a Lot of Toe Talk)

Episode 213: From Murder Mysteries to Morning Madness (and a Lot of Toe Talk)

This week, Mike and Tony dive headfirst into a patchwork of random topics and toe-related tangents that somehow all connect (kind of). 🕵️‍♂️✨ From the fun of murder mystery parties 🕵️‍♀️🔪 and the struggles of being a morning person ☀️😩 to the chaotic feeling when you’re running late 🏃‍♂️💨 and battling sleep inertia 🛌😴—it’s a wild ride through a regular day.

Things get particularly... grounded 🦶 when they chat about bunion surgery 🦶⚔️, flat feet 👣, wet feet 💧, and the mysterious wonders of The Toe Bro 👨‍⚕️. And because no episode would be complete without a little true crime flavor 🔪🖤, they sprinkle in some serial killer banter 🏚️, PCP, Fun Facts 🤯, and a whole lot more.

Two regular Colorado guys with zero formal training 😅 but all the conversation chops 🏆, Mike and Tony keep it light, laugh-filled, and somehow insightful—whether you’re tuning in on your morning jog 🏃‍♀️🎧 or trying to shake off your own sleep fog 🥱💭.

So, put on your dancing socks, lace up your shoes 👟,💃🕺, and join the fun for Episode 213. Just don’t be late... or have wet feet. Thank you kindly. 🙏😄

🎙️ *Laughs, life, and toe talk. This is The Mike and Tony Show. 🚀

Cheers!

Episode 157 - DJ Chonz

We have a real treat for you this week! We sat down with Denver's very own - DJ Chonz! We talked about his early days building a name for himself in the Denver music scene, growing up in Colorado, working in radio, touring nationally & internationally, how he got started in education, why he built the Denver DJ Chonz Foundation, what it was like to DJ a private party for Dr. Dre, wrestling, and much much more! Buckle up kids, this is a good one. Below is an excerpt from DJ Chonz's website:

Today, with 30 years of experience, he's the most recognizable DJ in Colorado and surrounding states. Over the years, he led the station to No. 1 rankings in various categories, including afternoon and night hosts for the 18-34 demographic from 2009 to 2011 locally and nationally in 2012.
He's won numerous awards from Denver's alt-weekly Westword's "Best of …" issues, including Best Hip-Hop DJ, Best Denver Radio, and Best Online Radio show for a daily mix he streamed live on the internet. He was also awarded Best Afternoon Show from the Colorado Broadcast Awards in 2010.

DJ Chonz continues to dominate the nightclub scene with several weekly events in Denver. When he's not on the road or in the studio, giving back to the community is essential to DJ Chonz, especially when he can lead young people to find positive life direction through music. "There are many genres of music," Chonz says. "I am fortunate to be able to play all formats. This allows for growth as a person and as a DJ. A DJ's job is to cater to a crowd and play what's relevant to them. That's what I do."

Enjoy!
